Welcome to Zeus Moving Services LTD. By using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Definitions
- “Company” refers to Zeus Moving Services LTD.
- “Customer” refers to any individual or entity requesting moving services from the Company.
- “Services” include packing, moving, storage, and other related services provided by the Company.
- “Goods” refer to the items the Customer requests to be moved or stored.
2. Services Provided
Zeus Moving Services LTD provides residential and commercial moving services, including furniture transportation, packing/unpacking, storage, and junk removal within Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). The Company reserves the right to refuse service at its discretion.
3. Booking & Payment
- A booking is confirmed once a deposit is received.
- Full payment is required upon completion of the move unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Accepted payment methods include cash, credit card, or e-transfer.
- The Customer is responsible for ensuring accurate information is provided during booking.
4. Pricing & Additional Charges
- Pricing is based on the scope of work agreed upon at the time of booking.
- Additional charges may apply for:
- Extra labor or time beyond the estimated duration.
- Heavy, oversized, or specialty items (e.g., pianos, safes, large appliances).
- Stairs, elevators, or difficult access points not disclosed in advance.
- Last-minute changes or rescheduling.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
- Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled move will receive a full refund.
- Cancellations within 48 hours of the move may be subject to a cancellation fee.
- Rescheduling is subject to availability.
6. Liability & Limitations
- The Company is not liable for:
- Pre-existing damage to items.
- Damage to fragile or improperly packed items.
- Delays caused by weather, traffic, or unforeseen circumstances.
- The Customer must report any damage within 24 hours of the move.
- Liability is limited to Basic Liability Coverage at $0.60 per pound per item unless the customer purchases additional insurance.
7. Customer Responsibilities
- Ensure all items are packed securely (unless using the Company’s packing services).
- Provide accurate information regarding inventory, access conditions, and special handling requirements.
- Be present at pickup and drop-off locations or have an authorized representative available.
8. Prohibited Items
The following items will not be transported:
- Hazardous materials (flammable liquids, explosives, chemicals, etc.)
- Perishable goods
- Illegal items (drugs, stolen goods, etc.)
- Live animals
9. Storage Services
- If storage is requested, fees apply based on the duration and space required.
- The Company is not liable for damage due to inherent defects or long-term storage effects.
10. Force Majeure
The Company is not liable for failure to perform services due to events beyond its control, including natural disasters, strikes, accidents, or governmental restrictions.
11. Dispute Resolution
- Any disputes shall first be resolved through negotiation.
- If unresolved, disputes may be submitted to arbitration in Ontario, Canada.
12. Amendments
The Company reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of changes.
